OS Installation for 1 x Oracle Sparc system

​​​OS installation

  • Perform pre-installation checklist
  • Reboot system to check it is in proper working condition
  • To perform OS installation
  • Install  patches if required
  • Verify the configurations with customer

Deliverable

  • Submit ECS service report

Customer Responsibilities

  • Complete data backup if HW is an existing system before start of OS installation
  • Provide media to ECS engineer
  • Ensure HW is free of any pre-existing system issue

General Assumptions

  • Any rework or out of scope requests by customer is chargeable
  • OS installation service is applicable for Solaris only
  • Service is based on weekday, working office hours

Out of scope

  • Installation or procedural documentations
  • UAT, project management, onsite standby
  • OS hardening, install and configure of 3rd party software
  • Data backup/restoration/recovery/migration service
  • Troubleshooting or problem resolution for any pre-existing system issue
