​Hardware and OS Installation

• Perform pre-installation checklist
• Component Add-on, if required
• Rackmount DELL R-series server (equivalent to DELL-34RKMNT)
• Perform cable management behind rack for servers mounted by ECS
• Power up server & verification of hardware components
• Basic configure IDRAC
• Configure H/W Raid
• Install firmware updates, patches, if required
• Verify the configurations with customer
• OS installation Optional (equivalent to DELL-OSX86)

Deliverable

• Submit ECS service report

General Assumptions

• Any rework or out of scope requests by customer is chargeable
• Customer to provide media and license to ECS engineer
• Service is based on weekday, working office hours

Out of scope

• Installation or procedural documentations
• UAT, project management, onsite standby
• OS hardening, install and configure of 3rd party software
• Cabling or labelling services
• Virtualization configuration (VM setup)
• AD configuration
