​Tape Library Installation (SL150 up to 2 tape drive)

• Information gathering and verification
• Perform pre-installation checklist
• Components Add-on, if required
• Rackmount 1 x SL150 tape library
• Connect cables to data host
• Power on test library
• Component health verification via LED status
• Component health verification via Operator Panel for SL150 DEM health state
• Configure IP Addressing information for library
• Activate library via password request
• Verify drives detected successfully via Operator Panel
• Perform cable management within rack for mounted 1 x SL150

Deliverable

• Submit ECS service report

Customer Responsibilities

• Responsible for configuration of their applications to recognize the tape drive
• Responsible for FC switch configuration and zoning

General Assumptions

• Any rework or out of scope requests by customer is chargeable
• Service includes setup of up to 2 tape drives
• Service is based on weekday, working office hours

• Installation or Procedural documenations
• UAT, project management, onsite standby
• SAN switches setup
• Cabling or labelling services
• Configuration of encryption services and appliances
• Configuration of backup software
